WHAT ARE PRE-CONS
PRE-CONFERENCES at the FlightBridgeED Air & Surface Transport Symposium (FAST24) are a unique opportunity to enhance your critical care knowledge through hands-on workshops. These sessions are led by industry-leading instructors, offering intensive and practical education in critical care. To participate, attendees must first secure a FAST24 conference ticket, after which they can choose up to two pre-conference workshops. Each workshop runs for 4 hours, with morning sessions from 8am to 12pm and afternoon sessions from 1pm to 5pm local time. Attendees can earn 4 CE hours per session, making these pre-conferences a valuable addition to their professional development. Don’t miss this chance to deepen your expertise and interact with top instructors in a dynamic, hands-on setting.
Already have your FAST24 ticket? No problem at all! As long as you have your FAST24 ticket, you can purchase pre-con tickets.
No FAST24 ticket? Also not a problem. You can add your FAST24 ticket to the cart at the same time as your pre-con ticket!

Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is hailed as a revolutionary advancement in bedside diagnosis, rivaling the stethoscope’s impact two centuries ago. While it has found a place in various medical specialties, its integration into EMS remains limited, with just 4.1% of U.S. EMS systems utilizing POCUS.

Scalpels and scenarios, paired with step-by-step, instructor guided dissections, allow attendees to experience an unforgettable view of intermediate to advanced medical & traumatic cardiac emergencies with a special pediatric focus. All equipment and materials are provided by Pedi-Ed-Trics for this program. Note: Emergency skills will be practiced on harvested pig organs. All disposable equipment and porcine hearts provided by Pedi-Ed-Trics. NO animals were euthanized for the purpose of this course.
