Required Before Enrollment
- Must be 18 years old.
- Must have a valid US Driver’s License.
- Must complete and pass a background check (at student expense ~$50) at this link: Viewpoint Screening.
- Must obtain a valid CPR certification before starting field internship (at student expense AHA BLS recommended – we can help you with getting a CPR card).
- Must have all required vaccinations before starting field internship (requirements may vary based on the selected service where you complete your internship).
- Must have access to a computer or tablet with internet access.
Certification
- Upon graduation from this course, it does not certify you. You will receive a certificate of completion, allowing you to sit for your National Registry Exam, which is the final step in obtaining your EMT certification.
- The National Registry Exam has associated fees that you will also be responsible for paying:
- $104 per exam attempt (fees may vary – please check the NREMT website for the latest information)
