Mechanical ventilation is one of the most misunderstood patient therapies. It is also one of the most powerful in terms of patient outcomes. FOAMed has done a great job of sharing casting a bright light on this subject, but as techniques evolve (especially in the wake of COVID-19) and equipment manufacturers develop new and better transport ventilators, it's important to understand mechanical ventilation from a deeper, comprehensive level - you just can't get that with FOAMed. This course has been developed by mechanical ventilator experts in cooperation with several mechanical ventilator manufacturers to bring a level of comfort and understanding unlike any other course.
This course includes case-based teaching, pre-course "Mechanical Ventilation Master Class" included (online pre-course access provided via the FBE University), 8 - CAPCE Accredited CE hours / 8 - Kentucky Board of Nursing CE hours, basic to intermediate concepts, hands-on learning using the industries top ventilators, book included: Ventilator Management: A Pre-hospital Perspective.
