We’ve officially hit one of the heaviest weeks of the course—Trauma Week. This week is packed with some of the most critical content you’ll encounter as future EMTs. You’ll be diving deep into trauma assessments, bleeding control, shock management, musculoskeletal injuries, and more. It’s intense—but it’s also the heart of what we do in prehospital medicine.
You’ve got quizzes to complete, plus Exam V at the end of the week, so time management and focused review will be key. Don’t let the volume of content overwhelm you—break it down, lean into the material, and keep showing up with the same determination you’ve had since Day 1.
Remember: this is where everything starts to come together. The scenarios get more real, your decision-making sharpens, and your ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies becomes second nature.
Stay engaged, ask questions, support each other, and keep pushing. You’re doing great—and we’re almost to the finish line. You’ve got this!
